Whether for business or pleasure, I spent most of my time making things. I enjoy trying new crafts and learning new skills in my free time, some of which make their way into my professional work and some of which are purely for my own enjoyment.

Bookbinding is something which I have begun to incorporate into my professional work since taking a box making class, and I can see great scope for including handmade jewellery boxes and gift boxes alongside my handmade jewellery. Some of my handmade books have made their way into Nanuk Designs already. Doodling and design is something which has also made its way into Nanuk Designs in the form of hand decorated sketchbooks and notebooks.

I enjoy knitting when relaxing of an evening or away from home, and I usually have several colourful projects on the go. I can't resist some beautiful hand dyed yarn! Embroidery is something else I love to do when I have longer periods of free time to dedicate to it, whether it's a kit or something I have designed myself.
